About VIBE
Burnout is a growing concern in the veterinary profession, with many existing resources placing the burden on individuals to manage their stress and wellbeing. But what if veterinary clinics could proactively address the root causes of burnout before it begins?

VIBE is built on extensive research and aims to empower veterinary practices to identify burnout contributors within their teams and implement systems that decrease risk and improve support. Our mission is simple: to help veterinary teams thrive by enhancing workplace wellness and improving staff retention.

About Angela
I am the founder of VIBE, a lecturer and researcher with over 16 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience across the UK and Australia. My career has spanned small animal general practice, emergency and critical care, leadership, and education - giving me a strong appreciation for the role leaders play in supporting team wellbeing.

I hold a master’s degree in management and am a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care. I’m currently completing a PhD focused on organisational dynamics and strategies to prevent burnout among veterinary nurses and technicians.

Driven by the lack of resources available to veterinary leaders, my research aims to provide clinics with practical tools to manage and prevent burnout. I’ve published widely on this topic and have been invited to speak at international conferences and in the media. I’ve been honoured with awards for my work, including the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia 2026 Mental Health Ambassador of the year. I am committed to improving staff wellbeing and retention across the veterinary industry.
