New Study Exploring Burnout in Veterinary Nurse Leaders

Throughout our previous research into burnout in veterinary nurses, one message from VN leaders has been consistent - Supporting your team through burnout can be really challenging when you are experiencing burnout yourself.
But are the drivers of burnout in VN leaders the same as those in VN's with no leadership responsibilities? Or are there additional pressures that need to be addressed? That is what our new study aims to explore.
The project has been approved by La Trobe University’s human ethics committee (HEC26159) and responses will help researchers better understand the workplace stressors experiences by VNT leaders and managers that may contribute to burnout.
Data collection for this study is now complete and the survey is closed.
Thank you to those who participated and shared their perspectives. Please keep an eye out for the published findings later this year!
