Workplace strategies to reduce burnout in veterinary nurses and technicians: A Delphi study

This study used expert consensus to develop practical strategies for reducing burnout in veterinary nurses and technicians. It identifies key workplace barriers and proposes 39 solutions focused on improving leadership, communication, and team culture to support wellbeing and retention.

Understanding veterinary technician burnout, part 2: addressing veterinary technician burnout requires tailored organizational well-being initiatives

This study explores what veterinary technicians believe causes burnout and what helps them feel supported at work. It highlights the need for more tailored, evidence-based wellness strategies in clinics to improve team wellbeing and retention.

Understanding veterinary technician burnout, part 1: burnout profiles reveal high workload and lack of support are among major workplace contributors to burnout

This study identifies common burnout profiles among veterinary technicians and examines how workplace factors,including high workload and lack of support, contribute to burnout. It identifies the need for clinics to take action to improve staff wellbeing and retention.

Organizational factors affecting burnout in veterinary nurses: A systematic review

This paper systematically reviews existing research exploring what aspects of the veterinary workplace can lead to burnout in veterinary nurses.
